Job Duties:

  • Supports the Clinical Care Manager in the delivery of resident-centred care: assessment, planning, documentation and evaluation

  • Implement the intervention/s identified in the plan of care for each resident and ensure the residents ‘response to these directives is evaluated, communicated and documented

  • Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements

  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, friends, and families

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and calling for assistance from health care support personnel

  • Maintains resident confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

  • Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies; and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

  • Education, Experience and Licensing Required:

    • Bachelor of Nursing degree

    • Registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse

    • Satisfactory Police Check
